Young Person’s Concerts

Introducing a New Generation to the Joys of the Symphony

Join the York Symphony Orchestra for a magical journey through Beethoven’s Pastoral Symphony! Similar to Leonard Bernstein’s Young People’s Concerts, this interactive concert introduces 3rd to 5th graders to nature’s beauty through music. Birds sing, streams flow, and storms roll in. Best of all, tickets are FREE! Don’t miss out!

Bring your students on a journey into nature through Beethoven’s Pastoral Symphony! This beloved music paints pictures of flowing streams, gentle bird calls, and country dances, making it the perfect way to introduce young minds to the power of orchestral music. With its clear storytelling and familiar melodies, the Pastoral sparks imagination and shows students how music can bring the natural world to life.
